The 2018 Leaf Series Cabernet Sauvignon is an epic wine at a very affordable price. It also has a 95 point Halliday rating and a gold medal from the 2020 James Halliday Australian Cabernet Challenge. And now, Stuart Knox is featuring it on Cellar Talk – check it out at The Real Review . Stuart’ tasting notes read: Vibrant purple hues. Dust, black fruits, tomato leaf and hints of cedar aromas. Big boy, intense black […]

Wise Estate is the most northerly winery in the Margaret River wine growing region. Though our growers, we have access to vineyards from all sub-regions. In the south we have the cooler southern sub-region of Karridale. Then there is the famous Wilyabrup sub-region. Last but not least is our own estate grown fruit at Eagle Bay.
Happy #CabernetDay Wise Estate founding owner Ron Wise accidentally left his Cellar keys here, so we’ve picked out his favourite Cabernets for you to try. This Saturday is International Cabernet Day, but we thought Cabernet is more deserving, so instead, until Father’s Day we are celebrating International Cabernet Week. Margaret River Cabernet sauvignon is renown as being some of the finest in the world and this week we are celebrating the joy of Cabernet by opening […]
The Cape Naturaliste area has many Winter pleasures for you to explore. And amazingly, being surrounded on three sides by water means we never get too cold – and occasionally the clouds clear and we enjoy beautiful vistas just like this. There is always plenty of fantastic food and warm hospitality at the two venues on Wise Estate – the Wise Vineyard Restaurant and the Meelup Farmhouse. And our Tasting Room will delight your palate […]
26 June is International Rosé Day – a great reason to brighten up a winters day. Rose is fun and perfect to share with friends. But is also a seriously good wine. Fruit forward aromas, a light body and refreshing crisp finish. It is also great food wine when paired with lighter Asian and seafood inspired dishes. Our estate grown 2019 Sea Urchin Shiraz Rosé is an absolutely beautiful wine. The nose shows roses, lychee, […]
Alas we have almost stocked out of one of our all time favourite wines. We will soon exhaust our supply of the award winning 2018 Sea Urchin Margaret River Shiraz. In fact there are only a very few pallets remaining. Because you have previously enjoyed our Sea Urchin Shiraz, we thought that you may appreciate the opportunity for a ‘final bite of the cherry’. When Larry Cherubino created this Shiraz, he commented to Ron Wise […]
This WA Day long weekend, we’ll be throwing open our doors from 9am. It will be so good to see you after such a long hiatus. And although we can’t offer you Cellar Door wine tasting just yet, you are invited to taste some great wines while having lunch in the Wise Vineyard Restaurant. Plus we have some great deals on our range of wines and gins – our Gold medal winning 2017 Leaf Series […]
It’s International Chardonnay Day. Margaret River is famous for Chardonnay. I’ve just tasted the 2019 Leaf Series Reserve Chardonnay made at Wise Wine.. It is made from carefully selected Chardonnay. Matured for 12 months in French Barriques it is lightly oaked. Full of fresh fruit and a soft mouth feel. The finish is simply stunning. It’s so good, it’s left me… Speechless.
Margaret River grows great Sauvignon Blanc to rival the best in the world. We have expanded our range from a traditional Bordeaux style Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend to include 2 stylish new sauvignon blanc styles: 2019 Leaf Series Sauvignon Blanc ‘Fumé Blanc’ – This is a complex wine with bright lemon brûlée and guava aromatics leading to textural palate, finishing with a delicate mineral acidity. 2019 Leaf Series Semillon Sauvignon Blanc – Lifted aromas of […]
As a lover of fine Margaret River Cabernet sauvignon I want to bring to your attention an opportunity to secure our current highest ranking red wine at a significant discount. The Lot 80 Cabernet Sauvignon has developed quite a pedigree. The 4 most recent vintages – 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 have each been awarded 95 points by James Halliday and Wine Companion. Sadly, we have stocked out of the 2014 and 2015, while the […]
